Bank of Steinauer To be Reorganized Well Attended Meeting of the positors, Unanimous Action Favors Such Movement. The depositors Bank Steinauer held meeting at the hall in Steinauer Saturday ternoon, March 18, two oclock, and voted unanimously in favor of reorganization of the bank. positors' committee composed of Prendergast, Bentzinger and Clifford Schroff was appointed look after the affairs of the deposiduring the reorganization. The reorganization involves of all classes of deposits and with money of and surplus of $2,500.00. Banking Situation is Gradually Easing Up Three Pawnee County Banks and Three Just Outside County Operating 100%; Others Limited. The banking situation in city, state and nation steadily justing itself, and it seems not too optimistic prediction to suggest that everything will be functioning normally within thirty days. The fact that every bank operating on 100% basis is not necessarily an indication of the banks' strength, according to our banking commissioners, for the partment has been unable as final checking to many banks. number of banks, too, have quested to be allowed to under open percentage plan lest runs on the bank be Three Pawnee county banks, the State Bank of DuBois, the State Bank of Burchard and the Bank of Lewiston are functioning 100% and experiencing healthy business. The banks in Pawnee City, Table Rock and Steinauer are operating restricted basis, but it confidentexpected all these institutions will shortly be operating in full in every department, the Citizens State Bank of Pawnee City without change of any kind, and the Farmers State Bank of Pawnee City, the State Bank of Table Rock and the Bank of Steinauer under reorganization plans.
