M. to continue its inquiry into the operations of the Westchester Trust Company of Yonkers. Four men have been summoned to testify. They are George V. Wallin, a brother of former Mayor William J. Wallin, counsel for the bank; George S. Edie, former vice-president; Arthur E. Muth, receiver for the old First National Bank and Trust Company of Yonkers, and Arthur Higgins, a former officer of the Westchester Trust Company. Mr. Wallin was mentioned by Assistant Attorney General Ambrose V. McCall in a complaint against directors of the bank when Mr. McCall sought an injunction under the Martin Act to restrain the officers and directors from all further handling of securities. In affidavits presented by Mr. McCall it was shown that Mr. Wallin received cash in the refinancing of one certificated mortgage while other investors did not.
