IL The banks of St. Louis declared a semi-adnual dividend of five per cent. on the 1st instant. The banking house of Clark, Bro. & Co., of St. Louis, is running the country banks of Missouri for gold, and in retaliation the banks of St. Louis are running the Grayville Bank, of Illinois-which is owned by the Clarks'--for the same kind of coin.They think "sauce for the goose" is good for the gander.
