Description

Articles report the Old Adams County Bank closed/failure (closed 'yesterday' in 1930-06-14 paper) and the deputy state banking commissioner took charge, indicating an official suspension and receivership/closure. OCR errors in Article 1 (garbled names and phrases) were corrected when extracting quotes and meaning. Other articles describe runs on neighboring banks triggered by this bank's failure, but there is no clear report of a depositor run on Old Adams County Bank itself prior to its closure.
