The Megeath cases having been consolidated are continued over to the February term. The damage suits of Andrew Gibson and Homer White against the street railway company have been compromised, the former for $800 and the latter for $100. A demurrer from the city in the suit of Henry Coombs to test the garbage contract with Alexander MacDonald was argued before Judge Fawcett yesterday afternoon and taken under advisement. Judge Scott had the International Dining hall case before him on final argument yesterday afternoon. He intimated that he would set aside the bills of sale, but his decision was postponed until Monday. Receiver Charles E. Sumner having made his final report of the finances of the Omaha Loan and Trust company, he is discharged and the balance is ordered to be applied
