Description

Articles report the bank closed its doors two weeks ago and the Controller of the Currency appointed John Owen as receiver. No run is mentioned. Suspension appears to have been government-ordered leading to receivership/closure in April 1927. I inferred the closure date as ~1927-03-18 (two weeks before the April 1, 1927 appointment notice) because the article states it closed two weeks earlier.
