of the Globe National bank of Kalispell. When the Globe National and the Northwestern consolidated, there were certain notes due the Globe which the Northwestern was asked to take as cash. They did so, but only on condition that the stockholders of the Globe would guarantee the payment of the notes, which they did. Many of the notes were never paid and the receiver now sues the stockholders to recover the sum guaranteed amounting to some $26,000.
Mr. Lyter says that Mr. Hatcher appears cheerful and looks the same as he ever did, being employed in the office by the contractors of the prison. The deposition of Mr. Hatcher was taken in behalf of the stockholders, who were represented by M. S. Gunn of Helena, while Mr. Lyter represented the plaintiff.
