RUN ON A JEWISH BANK BIG DISPLAY OF CASH UNSUCCESSFUL Private Bank in the Jewish District of Chicago Is Undergoing a Run Today -Numerous Policemen Preserve Order. Chicago, Sept. 22-Although the counters of Benjamin J. Schiff's private bank in the Jewish quarter was loaded with stacks of silver dollars and gold twenties, the run on the bank which started last night continued today. Hundreds of anxious persons massed in front of the bank and fifteen policemen were kept busy getting them into line.

Fifteen policemen were kept busy in attempting to get the depositors into a line, to clear the streets and force a passageway along the sidewalk.
