He gave an illustrated talk on the subject of which was "Approaching the East". Slides of un. usual interest were shown and the humorous and instructive comments made of the countries in the east. which resemble those of Palestine and of that country itself created a lot of Interest. Of real personal interest were the various pictures taken of the Elmer party, including the pastor of the local church. Esmond Bank Directors Are Meeting Today Esmond, Nov. 23-Directors and stockholders of the Eamond State bank which suspended operations last week were meeting this morning at the bank.
