BROUGHT CLAIM Bureau School Funds Entitled to Priority. Sheffield, Jan. Zearing, of reau county, has announced that the claim of Macon township school against the Citizens State bank of Buda, $12,school funds the time the business Sept. 19, 1927. are preferred claims and must be paid out in full the receiver, Boyden of Sheffield, in of the funds of the bank. Soon after the closing of the bank. Attorney Rennick filed claim for Ross township treasurer, for the school preferred claim, based on olde rule of English common contending that the common was the Illinois and that school officers are only agencies of the state and that title to these funds was thus in the state, entitled to priority. In arguments before the master last August, Mr. Rennick appeared for the claimants, Spaulding and Carey Johnson for the bondsmen. and Trimble, other Princeton attorney. for Mr. Boyden, the receiver. Inquest Held.
