OWYHEE COUNTY BANK CLOSED. The Owyhee County Bank has suspended business and all accounts, etc, have been transferred to the Boise City National Bank in Boise Idaho. The continued hard times and delay in the promised prosperity in reaching this part of the county has caused a scarcety of buisness in the Banking line until the stock holders in the concern thought they could use their money to better advantage in other lines of investments All the business of the bank will be taken over by the Boise City National Bank and all checks issued by depositors paid in full. There will be no loss to any one, but hereafter it will not be quite so convenient for residents in Silver City and the surrounding community. The Owyhei County Bank was conducted on square principles and no speculation of any kind or "Frenzied Finance" indulged in by the cashier or other officers, and when financial affairs became SO that the business did not pay a sufficient return, they simply quit business, after making arrangements whereby the patrons of the bank would not loose a cent or be injured in any way. There will be no sensational suicides, or absconding by the officials of the Owyhee County Bank, but on the other hand the cashier Mr. Frank D. Hall, and Pap Burrough will be found doing business at the same old stand, with money to cash your checks and sell you goods "80 cheep as never vas.'
