SPECIAL NOTICES. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN-I, John O, Talbott, heretofore appointed and duly qualified receiver of the estate of Benton T. Lymon, late of Tarrant county, Texas, acting pursuant to an order of the district court of Tarrant county, Seventeenth judicial district, made by said court in case No. 8756, J. T. Taylor V8. Farmers and Mechanics National bank et al. on October 27, 1894, and entered in the minutes of said court on page - of book "U" will on first Tuesday in December, 1894, same being 4th day of said month, between the hours of 10 o'clock a. m. and 4 o'clock p. m., offer for sale, at public vendue at the court house door in the city of Fort Worth, the entire estate of said Benton T. Lymon now in my hands as such receiver, more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Certain lands in Tarrant county, Texas, known and described as lots Nos. 14, 15 and 16 and a part of 13, in block No. 41, in the city of Fort Worth, together with all of the bu'lding materinl and other personal property belonging to said estate and in my possession as receiver as aforesaid. I will offer said property and premises for sale in bulk, as an entirety, as follows: First, for all cash, and, second, for one-half cash and the remainder In twelve months, secured by llen upon the property. Every bid must be accompanied by n certified check on some bank in Fort Worth for $2500, all blds to be by me reported to the court for confirmation. To the bidder whose bld shall be approved by the court I will execute and deliver due Instrument of conveyance. JOHN O. TALBOTT. Receiver of the Estate of Benton T. Lymon.

Oklahoma Banks Close for Week. Oklahoma City, Okla., Oct. 28.-Acting Governor Filson today issued a proclamation closing the banks of the territory for one week, on demand of the bankers. This action was taken because the banks at Kansas City and St. Louis refused to forward cash to the banks of the southwest. Concerted Action Taken. It is said that a consultation of the bankers of Oklahoma, Indian territory, Arkansas and northern Texas by means of the telephone took place during the early hours today, and all have taken similar action. The closing is for the purpose of protecting the banks in case of a run.
