Mrs. Hoskins will remain in Cherokee until after Easter, as she is director of the Presbyterian church choir. Wedded Half Century Ago Arthur, Ia.-Special: Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Smith, of this place, have celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. They were married in Illinois in 1882 and in 1888 came to Ida county, where they farmed 24 years. In 1912 they built home in Arthur and have resided here since. They have five children and 13 grandchildren. Mr. Smith is 72 years old and Mrs. Smith is 70.
