BANK OF LE CLAIRE TO PAY DIVIDEND OF 15 PER CENT A 15 per cent dividend payment to depositors of the LeClaire Savings bank of LeClaire, Ia., that closed a year ago, was authorized today by District Judge W. R. Maines on application of L. A. Andrews, superintendent of banking in charge of affairs of the bank. The new dividend is in addition to 40 per cent dividend already paid depositors of the institution. The report by Mr Andrews, filed with application recommending the new dividend, states that just claims of the bank have been paid and that there are ample funds to permit paying of the 15 per cent dividend. Alfred C. Mueller is at torney for the bank superintendent.

NINTH REPORT OF BANK RECEIVER IS APPROVED BY COURT The ninth report of L. A. Andrew, state superintendent of banking, acting as receiver, and of A. W. Pfoffenberger, examiner in charge of the liquidating of the LeClaire Savings bank, was approved late Thursday by District Judge W. R. The report, filed by Alfred โ‚ฌ. Mueller, attorney for the receiver, covers the three months period ending Dec. 31 and shows collec tions totaling $4,137.94. The bank, which has been in receivership for two years, has paid dividends of 65 per cent to depositors. Additional dividends will be paid later, according to the attorney. Members of the Tampa, Fla., golf association have voted to use Gene Sarazen's suggestion for 8. inch in the Gasparilla open tournament Feb. 10-12.

LE CLAIRE BANK RECEIVER FILES REGULAR REPORT Receipts of 2,093.23 for the three months' period ending June 30 are shown in the 14th report of D. W. Bates, receiver for the LeClaire Savings bank, filed in Scott county district court and approved by Judge W. R. Maines. Disbursements for the period, according to the report, were $481.34, which included receivership expenses of $443.43. The receivership report since the bank entered receivership totals $9,709.47. The cash balance March 31 of $7,962.20 was increased to $9,574.09 during the succeeding three months.
