LOWDEN AUXILIARY PARTY IS SUCCESS; ROWALD BUYS FARM Lowden, Ia., Oct. 28.-Sixteen tables were played at the Legion auxiliary benefit party this week. Honors went to Mesdames John Koranda, J. Milota, J. Gehrls, H. to Twachtman, John Hass, William Hamdorf and L. Mensing, the Misses Helen Peterson, Lillian Hamdorf and Bernice Rutenbeck, mil Mahlstedt and pinochle prizes C. H. Richman, Emil Freese, Henry Twachtman and Henry Mensing Hugo Rowald has purchased the 120-acre farm, known as the Wishman farm, miles south of here, from the Lowden Savings bank receiver for $6,300 and Mrs. Aug. for ust Nieting has purchased the Burmeister residence for John Hack sold the team gray geldings, which took second prize at the Stanwood fair, to Boston buyer for $400.
