Henderson Guilty Of Violation of State Banking Laws WEST UNION. May (Associated for passing sentence upon Henderformer state banking commissioner. convicted yesterday by jury of fradulent banking, set district court here today by Judge H. Taylor. The former head of the state banking department was found guilty fraud last night which deliberated hours. The jurors found that he had mitted acts of fraud in receiving deposits the First State Bank Hawkeye, which he cashier, just before was closed 1927. charged that the time he knew the institution was insolvent. Henderson was the second ficial of the closed bank to found guilty of the charge. Recently, Bevins, president of the institution, was convicted and sentenced to 20 years in Fort Madison penitentiary. Similar evidence was used against both.
