Description

The Hawarden State Bank is repeatedly described as being in receivership with a receiver's reports and dividends paid (articles from 1929–1931). No article describes a depositor run prior to suspension; instead the bank was closed and placed in receivership and has paid dividends to depositors, indicating permanent closure. I corrected minor OCR artifacts but did not change names/dates materially.
