Village Of Blairstown Wins Preference Suit

A novel case was determined in the Circuit Court Friday by Judge Calvird arising out of the deposit of the Village of Blairstown in the Bank of Blairstown.

After the Bank of Blairstown was placed in liquidation, the Village of Blairstown, by its attorney, Haysler A. Poague, of Clinton filed a suit claiming a preference, and that the Village of Blairstown was entitled to all of its funds returned to it.
