Receivers have been appointed the state department banking, William Gordon, for Farmers and bank Dillsburg: the Shrewsbury Savings the Littlestown Institution, all of which recently closed the state. liquidators appointed were: Showalter, for Dillaburg Farmers Merchants' bank: Joseph Kettering, of adelphia, the Shrewsbury Charles Gebbard, anon, for the institution. COMPROMISE IN BANK DISPUTE

Receiver for Littlestown Bank Announces Decision in Kingsdale Case.

Charles E Gebhard, deputy receiver of the Littlestown savings institution announced that he had effected a compromise settlement for a consideration of $17,000 of all the indebtedness of the Kingsdale Canning company, Holman L. Sell, C. D. Sell, Harry A. Parr, and Harry A. Parr and Clyde N. Parr.

Such indebtedness was set forth in a petition filed with the court of common pleas of Adams county on January 7. The claims were as follows: Judgment vs. Kingsdale Canning company, Holman L. Sell and Harry A. Parr in the sum of $15,000; judgment vs. Kingsdale Canning company, Holman L. Sell and Harry A. Parr in the sum of $15,000; judgment vs. Harry A. Parr and Clyde N. Parr in the sum of $2,458.04; note vs. Harry A. Parr and Clyde N. Parr in the sum of $800; judgment vs. Charles D. Sell and Holman L. Sell, J. H. Kelly indorser, in the sum of $8,000; and note vs. Holman L. Sell, Harry A. Parr and Charles D. Sell in the sum of $1,318.95, together with accumulated interest. To these were added notes vs. Harry A. Parr in the sum of $300 after exceptions had been filed.

IS ADJUDGED BANKRUPT

Albert A. Partner, of Biglerville, has been adjudged bankrupt in the federal court for the middle district of Pennsylvania, according to J. Donald Swope, Esq., Adams county referee in bankruptcy. Partner lists debts of $1,922.06, and assets of $383.70.
