SOLON BANK PAYS 10 PER CENT; NEWS BRIEFS OF INTEREST Special to The Democrat Solon, Ia., April 4.-The Farm ers' State bank is paying a 10 per cent dividend this week, the second of that amount since the bank suspended. HEIRS LIABLE Judgment in Favor Of Closed Bank At Solon Heirs of estate are liable for stock assessment closed bank. Hon. Harold Evans ruled district court Saturday in brought by the receiver of Farmers State bank Solon against Anna Armstrong and Robert Armstrong of Cedar Rapids, individually and trustees for Margaret Armstrong Race Cedar Rapids, under the will Samuel Armstrong.
