from Parkersburg to the effect that a receiver had been named for the Central Panking and Trust Company of that city were declared erroneous in a statement issued today by J. S. Hill, state banking commissioner. "A receiver," Mr. Hill said, "had been appointed for the Citizens Trust and Guarantee Company of Parkersburg, but that is not a bank. There have been no recent bank failures in Parkersburg," Commissioner Hill said today. "Not only that but there have been no recent failures in West Virginia." I have been in telephone communication with the bank and officiais of it are very much concerned over the erroreous report that has been sent out.

No Receivership For Bank at Parkersburg Parkersburg W Va. July 3. A news dispatch sent from this city Sunday night announcink that a receiver had been named for the Central Bank and Trust company was erroneous off. dais of the Central Bank and Trust company and state banking criticials today denied that a receiver had been appointed for that institution and pointed out that there had been no reant bank failures in Parkersburg or in the motife state of West Virginia The receiver in question was named for the Citizens Trust & Guarantee company of Parkersburg The latter institution is not a bank state banking ufficials said.

Receiver for Trust Co. PARKERSBURG, W. Va., Aug. 6. As a result of suit filed in the Wood circuit court, Judge Walter E. McDougle has appointed William G. Peterkin receiver for the Citizens' Trust and Guaranty Company, of this city. The suit was filed by R. J. A. Boreman as plaintiff and there are more than 200 persons named as defendants. It is claimed in the bill of particulars filed that the company is insolvent. Peterkin gave bond in $10,000.
