M Getz extended the holiday of the Whitney Loan and Trust Co. Wednesday for six days. Ninetynine per cent of the depositors have signed the trust new ment. The committee announced that mass of depositors meeting will be held today. were especially light and the sharpest single day's advance in recent weeks was scored at some of those centers. Run Light Early Although there was light run on hand Wednesday morning and demand continued active as packer buyers were in need of hogs for immediate slaughter dealers reported some increase in load ing in response to the improvement in prices Local buyers were offering more loads than on Monday at number of stations and they reported that they were getting more droves bought from feeders than they could buy on Tuesday This week's light runs were not unexpected, following the unusualheavy loading of the middle of last week. Good to choice hogs scaling from 180 to 220 pounds sold with in the price range of $2.55 to $2.90 but there were not many sales under $2.60 and it took long haul car loads to bring above $2.80 Butchers scaling from 230 to 250 pounds bulked from $2.50 to with long haul loads of 230 to 240 pound averages occa sionally up to $2.75 and $2.80 Loads of 270 to 280 pound weights occasionally brought as high as $2.60 and $2.65 but the price range of $2.25 to $2.55 took in the most of the 270 to 320 pound There were not many sows in the run and the few that were brought in sold higher along with the butchers Long haul light weights sold up to $2.15 with the bulk of those brought in from $1.75 to $2.00 Odd head scaling above 500 pounds ranged on down to around $1.50 for short haul lots above also from ping Omaha Produce Milkman Robbed.
