CONFER ABOUT AFFAIRS OF SPARTA BANK Special to The News SPARTA. Ga., 19.-Attorney Davis, of the State Banking Department. was Sparta today conferring with Liquidating Agent J. W Alfriend and creditors of the defunct Sparta Savings Bank. While no definite information was given out, as to the occasion of the banking department's attorney visit here. it is understood that he came to make adjustments of several depositors and other creditors of the bank Receiver Alfriend of the bank, is rapidly liquidating the affairs of the institution and hopes to pay another dividend in the next few weeks.
