Run on Elberton Bank Subsides; Confidence In Strength Increases ELBERTON, Ga., Dec. 11.-The strength and solidarity of the First National bank of Elberton was definitely established Friday when number of depositors withdrew their funds, due to the failure of large number of banks throughout the state of Georgia and especially due to the closing this week of the bank of Bowman, the Elberton Loan and Savings bank, and the Bank of El berton.
