GEORGIA. The Legislature of Georgia has adjourned, after a very short session, during which one hundred and thirty-three Acts were passed. One of these reduces the compensation of all State Officers twenty per cent. and the State Tax in like proportion. Another suspends operations on the Western division of the Atlantic and Western Railroad. Three others are devoted to tinkering the General Banking Law, the Suspension Act, and the act forbidding shinplaster issues. Another authorizes the pet (suspended) Central Bank to issue $300,000 in notes of one or two dollars. Another prescribes the mode of winding up the broken Bank of Darien.
