FAGAN QUITS BANK JOB; AYRES NAMED New Bern, July 1 (AP)-Fred Ayres of Washington, N. C., was appointed receiver of the Bank of New Bern and four other national banks in this section today succeeding Frank F. Fagan, resigned.
