Two Jefferson Banks Reopen Special to The News LOUISVILLE Ga., Dec. 3-Of the four Jefferson county banks which were members of the Manley chain of banks and that were forced to close in the geneeral crash of the Manley system of banks in the recent summer, two of these banks in Jefferson county have re-opened for business and are now operating under a new organization The first of these banks to reopen is the Bank of Stapleton, which did not remain closed except for few weeks after closing. due to the fact of the relation It bore to the Manley system. The second bank in the county to reopen is the Bartow bank. which suspended in October. due to th same cause as that of the Stapleton bank. The bank at Bartow now is operating again after only a few weeks of being closed. It is und r. stood that the latter bank is headed by Lake B. Holt, of Sandersville Likewise the Bank of Stapleton is doing much to restore the busienss strength of that community.
