BANK RECEIVER NAMED A. H. Olson Will Have Charge of Ashley Institution Here. SALEM. Or., April 4.-(Special. The state banking board today firmed the appointment of A. Olson to assume charge of the liquidation of the Ashley State bank of Portland. The bank closed doors Mr. Olson has been connected with the state banking department since 1922. He has served in various liquidations, including the State Bank of Portland Since 1926 he has been charge of defunct French & Co. bank The Dalles. He will move to Portland. Mr. Olson's appointment was recomm ended by Schramm, state superintendent of banks. Land Sold Near Sandy. SANDY. Or., April 4.-(Special.) Dan Meyer Cottrell has his 25-acre farm. improved Morris Dultz of Rockwood for $7500. Meyer will remain on the farm until January, 1929. The buildings are modern, and electricity and are installed.
