First District Court. Judge James A. Miner in the Ogden Division of the First District Court, disposed of the following cases yesterday: The People ete. VS. Jens Larsen, case was dismissed. The People VS. James Smith and Thomas Wilson; pleaded not guilty. V.C. Gunnell appointed attorney and case set for trial the Fith inst. John A. Boyle VS. Amelia J. Wright; case dismissed as to all defendants except Della Wright and Susanna R. Wright. V. C. Gunnell appointed guardian ad litem for these defendants. Thomas Cahoon V8. First National bank of Cheyenne et al.; ordered that time for hearing motion for receiver be set for Monday, December 15th. The People VS. George House, charged with robbery; jury out. The People VS. Barney Myers; pleaded guilty; waived time and asked for sentence. Judgment, commitment to the reform school until he becomes twenty-one years of age. The People VS. Charles Turner; on motion of C. C. Dye, order for witnesses to besubpoenaed out of the expenses of the people. The United States vs. Andrew Callhan; pleaded not guilty and case set for trial on the 23rd inst. The People vs. Harry Oland; withdrew plea of guilty and pleaded not guilty. Judgment, ordered confined in the reform school until he becomes twenty-one years of age. The People vs. James Sigler; on trial. The business mentioned below was discharged from the docket before Judge Blackburn at Provo yesterday: A decision was rendered in the case of P. C. Anderson et al. vs. Neils L. Eliasen et al., giving the plaintiff three-fourths of the stream of water and the defendant, Eliasen. one-fourth of the stream, each party paying their own costs; court costs to be divided between plaintiff and defendant Eliasen. The irrigation case between Artemus Hollman vs. Pleasant Grove City was taken up and is in course of trial. There was a little deviation from the regular order of business just before the noon recess. John O'Brien and Hannah Evergreen appeared before his honor, and were pronounced man and wife.

John Holgreen; unlawful cohabitation; withdrew plea of not guilty and pleaded guilty; case set for sentence January 6, 1891. United States vs. Archibald MeFarland; withdrew plea of not guilty and pleaded guilty; case set for sentence on January 6, 1891. Thomas Cahoon vs. First National Bank of Cheyenne et al ; order anpointing receiver and naming D.H. Peery, Jr., assuch.
