WINS JUDGMENTS Awards Totalling $43,153.59 Made In Suits Brought By Bank Receiver; Testimony In Other Cases Heard In the United States district court judgments were awarded the plaintiff ten the suits which developed from the closing of the First National Bank of McDowell county and the Gary National Bank, Gary. Edward O'Toole was the principal defendant in the suits which were brought by Jack Bennett. receiver for the bank. All of the ten cases involved notes payable the closed Institutions. Upon disposition of these cases, the court opened hearings on eleven other which the receiver seeks collect double indemnity from the Evidence these cases submitted. and announced that counsel would submit briefs. Following are the defendants and amount of judgment entered Wednesday John Blakely O'Toole O'Toole Jr., $4,266.30; Helen M. and Edward John O'Toole Jr., Woods and Edward O'Toole Woods and $1,076.13: Neel and Edward O'Toole Edward O'Toole Helen M. O'Toole, Edward Jr., and R. H. $5,920.26.
