Description

Multiple newspaper notices (Jan–Feb 1907) advertise sale of bank-owned real estate by Z. W. Crockett, Special Receiver, in a chancery cause naming United Banking & Trust Company. This indicates the bank was in receivership and its assets were being sold (permanent closure). The articles do not describe any run or an explicit prior suspension of payments; a receiver is already in place by Jan 14, 1907. I classify as suspension_closure because the bank is closed and in receivership with no run reported.
