Description

Newspapers report the Farmers & Merchants Bank of Tomah was suspended by the Wisconsin state commissioner of banking on April 16–17, 1930, pending reorganization. No run is mentioned and no reopening or receivership is described in these articles. I classify as suspension_closure because the bank was suspended by government action and subsequent disposition is not reported here; selected this category as the most-likely outcome given suspension by the commissioner, but the ultimate permanent closure/receivership is not documented in the provided texts.
