CASES HEARD IN CIRCUIT COURT (From Saturday's daily.) In the case of the State of Wisconsin vs. Newton Darrow the jury returned a verdict of guilty. The young man is accused of taking $128 from Thomas Maycroft while he slept. The alleged theft took place while some cement work was being done in the western part of the county. Darrow claimed he obtained the money he had while playing a game at Cazenovia. The case of George Horkan vs. F. W. W. Rubensaal has been settled. The case of J. A. Brown vs. E. W. Langdon has been settled. The case of L. C. Peters vs. Sarah Loomis has been continued, ths usual $10 being paid. The title to a piece of land transferred from Charles A. Lyon to Amos B. Young was corrected, The title to land owned by Fred W. Harms was also corrected. The witnesses: Thomas Maycroft, Frank Loughney, Herbert Fennegan, Wesley Thomas, Newton Darrow, Della Yatti, Dora Claridge. The jury: Otto Jahn, Charles Gibbons, Christ Reitman, Oliver Schoenman, Alfred Gage, John Liegel, Otto Hornung, John McGann, L. E. Stone, Burt Mortimer, Joe Lewis and W. H. Mortimer. (From Monday's daily.) In the case of the State Bank or Reedsburg VS. Charles E. Ellis, C. H. Stone and James A. Stone were appointed receivers on a bond of $800 furnished by John H. Claridge. Titles to land owned by Fred W. Harms and John C. Brandt were corrected. In the case of John D. Harvey vs. Joseph E. Harvey, further matter will be submitted to the court. (From Tuesday's daily.) There was a non-suit in the seed corn case. Frank Horkan sold M. T. Kelley a quantity of seed corn and the plaintiff claimed it did not germinate as well as it should. The defendant contended it was good corn. The testimony of others who bought the corn showed that in some case the germination was as high as 95 per cent. In other fields, especially in low ground, the corn did not grow well. The witnesses: Frank Horkan, M. T. Kelley, A. L. Stone, Theodore Kelley, W. E. Fish, William Rich, Harold Darrow, J. E.
