LOCAL RIFLE TEAM WINS CAMP SHOOT (Continued from page one) unit regarding the camp this year was that of satisfaction, and that more was accomplished from an instructive standpoint than from any previous encampment. M. D. Welty, colonel of the regiment, finished his term as commanding officer, being succeeded by Lt. Col. Ivan Bowen of Mankato. The mornings of the first four days of camp were spent on the rifle range by Company "L" members, while the afternoons were taken up by schools of different kinds. Those not detailed for a school were out for supervised athletics. Field problems and extended order work made up the schedule of camp life the last week, with the last day in camp being display and inspection of field equipment. Governor Theodore Christianson and Congressman Frank Clague were camp visitors on Saturday, July 14th, when the regiment reviewed for them. Mr. Clague had his evening meal with Company "L" members on this day. July 25 to Aug. 8 STATE OF MINNESOTA, COUNTY OF REDWOOD DISTRICT COURT, NINTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT.
