The Financial Trauble, THE WALMINGTONBANKS AND BROKERSALL RIGHT The recent failures in Philadelphia and New York, while they will doubtless affect financial affairs in many cities, will not, we are happy to say affect the bankers and banking Institutions of this city. In conversation with a represents of the GAZETTE, this morning, Mr. Henry Robinson, of R. R. Robinson & Co., bankers stated that notwithstanding the present erisis he considered the country generally in a sound financial, condition. He said that as far as Wilmington was.comcerned, there was no cause for alarm, and that in a few days financial matters would be as smooth as ever. He said that there had been but a run upon their house, and that by small deposit tors. The stock market would doubtless bode pressed for some time, particularly railroad stocks. Hejanid, also, that while there was no earthly reason for making a run upon the banks of banker's of this city, all of them were ready and able to pay every dollar on demand.
