Description

Articles (Spokane Chronicle, 1934-07-17) state that the People's State Bank (Walla Walla) 'is in liquidation' and 'closed September 14.' No run is mentioned; the bank remained closed and in liquidation, so classify as suspension leading to closure. I infer the year of closing as 1933 (banking closures in piece reference 1933 dates), but the article does not state the year explicitly; I use 1933-09-14 for the suspension/closure date aligned with context. If strict year cannot be assumed, treat date as approximate.
