Hill and "William Caldwell. You are hereby summoned to appear within sixty days after the date of the first publication of this summons, to-wit. within sixty days after the 9th day of March, 1901, and defend the above entitled action in the above entitled court. and answer the complaint of the plaintiff, and serve a copy of your answer upon the undersigned attorneys for plaintiff at their office below stated: and in case of your failure NO to do judgment will be rendered against you according to the demand of the complaint. which has been filed with the clerk of said court. The object of said action in to obtain a judgment of said court in favor of plaintiff and against the defendant. Marquis L. Hamilton in the sum of $4,773.00, with interest on $4,160.00 thereof at 12 per cent. per annum from July 1st. 1897, and on $160.00 thereof at the same rate from January 1st, 1897. and on $333.00 thereof at the same rate from January 26th, 1901. and on $120.00 thereof from date of decree: And to obtain a decree of said court forectosing that certain mortgage executed and delivered by the defendant Hamilton to The Guarantea Thist and Loan Company, to secure said sums, dated June 9th, 1892, and recorded In the office of the County Auditor of King County. Washington in book 49 of mortgages. page 367, upon the following described property in said King county. to-wit: All of the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of section 21. township 23 north. range 4 east: also the south 16 acres of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter, and the north 27 acres of the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of section 30, township 28 north. range 4 east, and directing that said real estate be sold to satisfy said judgment and amounts, and that the defendants be foreclosed of their equity of redemption, and of all right or claim to said premises: which said mortgage. and the debt and note thereby secured. were heretofore Indorsed. assigned and conveyed to plaintim: for costs, and for general relief.
