OLYMPIA SAVINGS BANK. The Name of a New Institution Soon to be Organized. A new bank will soon be organized, as a successor to the State bank, which suspended a short time ago. Arrangements are now under way, and will probably shortly be consummated, to open the bank in the building recently vacated by the State bank. The directors and officers have not as yet been chosen, but some of those interested in the bank will be John F. Gowey, A. A. Phillips, of the First National bank, of this city, together with a number who were connected with the defunct State bank. The purpose of this organization is to preserve the savings features of the State bank, where small deposits will be received and interest allowed thereon, a feature which is not practiced by any other bank in the city. The articles of incorporation will probably be filed this week, but the institution will not open for business until April 4th.
