NORTHWEST NEWS. The Portland Chamber of Commerce has elected Col. John McCraken president, J. L Hartman treasurer and J. Frank Motler secretary. The First National bank of Centralia is about to go into liquidation, according to the Centrails Chronicle. It will be succeeded by the private bank of Frank Hense. Receiver Schley has sold the Morning mine, located in Shoshone county, Idaho, to Charles F. Pfister for $176,000, subject to a mortgage and bills, which bring the amount up to $251,000.
