Description

Articles report continuous withdrawals driven by false rumors leading directors to temporarily close the bank for depositor protection; reopening announced a few days later. I inferred suspension around 1930-12-31 (article says suspended in December and closure reported in newspaper dated 1931-01-01). Bank type inferred as state (no 'National' or 'Trust' in name).
