utah. Business Failure-Bank Attached-The Denver and Rio Grande Situation. SALT LAKE, April 3d.-Goldstein & Bro., clothing dealers, have assigned. Liabilities, $18,000; estimated assets, $2,500. The London Bank of Utah has been attached by W. H. H. Bowers for $50,000. The bank is in the hands of the United States Marshal, and has been closed pending the litigation, locking up over $100,000 of deposits. The trouble originated in the Mammoth mine transactions. The complaint of Bowers alleges that checks payable to his order, not indorsed, were appropriated by the bank. No change has taken place in the Denver and Rio Grande situation. The road is operating as usual.
