TEXAS NEWS NOTES. BELCHERVILLE.-Thirty-six tramps were arrested here in one day last week. BALLINGER.-There will be a live stock show:here on April 2. BLOOMING GROVE.-A Hogg club with seventy-five members has been organized. Calvin Sullers, who has been tapping tills in this city for some time, has at last been captured. COMMERCE.-Board of examiners will be in session here April 7 and 8. GAINESVILLE.-Busines in all lines of trade is flourishing. GREENVILLE.-Spurous paper money is in circulation here. Grand View needs an ice factory to supply the demand of the coming season. HILLSBORO.-Postmaster Attaway received official information from Washington to-day that he would be required to issue "international money orders." beginning Sunday, April 4, 1892. This is almost equivalent to making Hillsboro a second-class office. HOLLAND.-A goose egg was brought to this city by a Parksdale farmer which measured 9x12 inches in circumference. HENRIETTA. - Nine German families passed through here Wednesday en route to Oklahoma. Despite the bad weather business is very good in all lines. QUINTANA.-W. W. Stinnett, a former citizen of Fort Worth, has been petitioned to run for mayor. SEYMOUR.-Schools of this city are making preparations for closing exercises. TEXAS NEWS NOTES. GATESVILLE.-A Hogg club has been organized here. GAINESVILLE.-Railroad travel through this vicinity is very light. ALEXANDER.-Stone masons engaged in getting out building rock from the quarries near here have found stones of such superior quality that they turned their attention to making tombstones of it, with satisfactory results. BLUM.-A Hogg club is being organized here. BROWNWOOD.-Brown county farmers are giving much attention to the raising of hogs. CLEBURNE.-Mrs. Newberry, murderess of her little grandchildren, is still in jail. There are two capiases from the district court against her for murder and one order that she be taken to the asylum. So far the two have controlled her movements or want of movement better than the one. CAMERON.-Both Hogg and Clark clubs have been organized here with very large memberships. GAL.-There is not a saloon in Borden county. HENDERSON.-Fourteen candidates are out for tax assessor. LONE OAK.-Free schools closed their term here on last Thursday. A Democratic club was organized here on the 20th. LLANO.-There are a great many bales of cotton in this vicinity not yet marketed. MINERAL WELLS.-This county is mixed as to Hogg and Clark. MEMPHIS.-A petition was circulated in this city last week and quite numerously signed asking Hon. Tom Brown to become a candidate for governor.
