Gotham Greeting To Fliers To Be Broadcast Friday
NEW YORK. July 16.(P) (Time is San Angelo throughout)- The greet ing of New York to Otto Hillig and Hoiger Hoiriis, who flow from Now York to Copenhagen recently, will be broadcast Friday afternoon. Coming from the steps of the city hall, It will go on the air from 1:00 to 1:30 p. m., over WABC-CBS.
The two-way radio conversation to be conducted at 5:30 a. m. Saturday by Harold Gatty and Wiley Post world fliers, at Schenectudy with Wing Commander Charles Kings ford Smith and Charles Ulm, CO pilots of the Southern Cross, which flew the Pacific, who are in Aus tralia, will be rebroadcast by WEAF NBC as well as WGY.

Business Suspended as Climax to Two Week's Slow Run rectors of the Floyd County Na. tional Bank. which suspended bust ness yesterday afternoon as the climax to two weeks' slow run, to day were planning re-opening of the institution. T. S. Stevenson, president of the bank, said the run was probably spurred Wednesday morning after announcement reached Floydada tellig of the failure of the Security State Bank of Lockney, in the same county to open its doors for busi ness. Mr. Stevenson said the di rectors expected to have the bank reorganized open for business within week.
