BAYLOR UNIVERSITY. Another Nice Endowment Anticipated-Suit Over Busted Bank Affairs. Special to The Statesman. WACO, Oct. 31.-It having been rumored that John D. Rockaffeler would make another endowment to Baylor University, Rev. R. C. Burleson was asked about the matter this afternoon. He said he did not think Mr. Rockaffeler would give any more money to Baylor, but thought a Kansas gentlemen would probably do so. This gentleman's name, the doctor said, as well as the matter in general, was private and be did not care to speak about the matter at present. Suit will be brought in the United States circuit court in behalf of Receiver B. B. Paddeck of Fort Worth of the city National bank and others to recover Walling's homestead, which was transferred by the latter to one of the directors at the time the bank failed. Other suits will be brought by the receiver in the interest of the bank, bnt none have yet been filed.
