Closing Of Sixth Bank Announced In Colorado First National, or Rifle, Latest In Chain To Suspend In Three Days. Denver, Col., Dec. 19 (AP).-The First National Bank of Rifle, with capital of $25,000 and resources $200,000, closed yesterday, L. K. Roberts, national bank examiner, announced today. The action was taken at the initiative of the directors. This is the sixth bank closed in Colorado in three days. Texas Bank Closed. Cleburne, Texas, Dec. 19 (A).-The Home National Bank of Cleburne remained closed today when the hour for the opening came. The institution was placed in the hands of national bank examiners by the board of directors. Iowa House Closes After Run. Mason City, Iowa, Dec. 19 (A).-The Security National Bank failed to open this morning. The closing was ordered by the directors after a run which depleted cash on deposit. Victoria (B. C.) Records Quake. Victoria, B. C., Dec. (P).Gonzales Observatory, here, recorded an earthquake, beginning at 8.22 this morning and lasting two hours. The disturbance was placed 5,500 miles to the southwest.
