RECEIVER APPOINTED FOR AMARILLO BANK Austin, Tex., April 10.-J. C. Roots of Ballinger, Runnels county, has been appointed by commissioner of insurance and banking Collier as special agent to liquidate the affairs of the First State bank of Amarillo. Mr. Roots has gone to Amarillo to take charge of the bank, which was ordered closed a few days ago by the commissioner.
