Mechanics' Rank. B. F. Wilson, W. B. Newell and W. M. Duncan, doing business in the name of the Mechanics' Bank, have dissolved partnership by mutual consent, and all persons having deposits in said bank are notified to call for same. Balances remaining uncalled for on the 10th instant will be placed to the individual credits ef the parties at the First National Bank. This is the purport of a notice published elsewhere. That is rather an unfashionable way of closing a banking institution, but if we had fifteen cents more or less on deposit in that concern, we think we would be pleased with the new departure taken by the owners of this bank. It sounds equally as well as suspension, and if this example is followed by other institutions, people generally will be better pleased with the wind-up.
