"We could have kept open, said H.J. Ramer, cashier of the Bank of Matrin. He said there is possibility of reopening soon. Mr. Ramer said between $3,000 and $4,000 of state funds were de posited in the Bank of Martin, and correspondingly small amounts in the others.
