FARM UNION OF UNION COUNTY HOLDS ELECTION Elk Point, D., Dec. clal: Union County Farmer's union held its annual election in Hamilton hall, and C. Hamilton was reelected president: O. Lawson, vice president; Victor Tollefsen, secretary treasurer. Mr. Bernard, Jefferson Lewis Ranum, Elk Point, and Charley Larson, Alcester, directors. Enoch Hofstad and Victor Tollefson were elected committee on publicity of the treasurer showed the finances in good shape. DAKOTA FORGER SENT TO PRISON FOR FIVE YEARS S. D., Dec. V. L. Malone, 27, registered pharmacist of Mound, Minn., arrested here and sentenced by Judge Frank R. Fisher in circuit court at Huron to an undetermined sentence not to exceed five years in the state penitentiary at Sioux Falls on charge of forgery in the third degree. Malone is alleged to have issued checks to Redfield for the checks being on the Redfield American National bank. Before Malone left the city, merchants the checks were forged and his arrest followed. 603 RAIL EMPLOYES AT SAFETY FIRST CONFERENCE Aberdeen, S. Wyant has been elected president of the Vale community club for the coming year. Arthur Adams was elected vice president, B. Clark secretary, and Russell Arndt, treasurer. Members of the club are tive in promoting the interests of Vale and farming district. F. C. Brunger, retiring president, urged the club to purchase land near the city schools for the purpose of transforming it into city park. The club gave its unanlmous approval to the project. Closed Bank Pays Dividend. Woonsocket, S. D., Dec. 21.-Special: The Woonsocket State bank, which suspended in 1924, now will pay another 10 per cent dividend, ascording to information given by E. R. Campbell, examiner in charge. The amount of this dividend will be almost $34,000. Mr. Campbell has charge of this bank, with closed banks in Letcher, Forestburg and Storla. His record shows that each these have paid 10 per cent dividend since September The total of these dividends is $85,000. Husk Crippled Man's Corn. Elk Point, S.
