Receiver, H. S. Dains, Carl Pollow, Farmers and Traders' Bank. and Steiger & Son, Defendants. Going Out of Business. The Farmers and Traders' Bank is closing up its affairs preparatory to going out of business. Depositors are being paid their dues as rapidly as they can be called into the bank, and the vice-president, W. S. Farmer, expects to have them all paid in full in a few days at the fartherest and the institution ready to ciose. It is evident that the directors of the bank do not consider it profitable to run it longer in the face of the present hard times, but we understand that it is their intention to re-open the bank when business will warrant it. The honorable and business like manner in which the bank is settling up its afiairs is fresh evidence of its stability, and is such as will react to its credit should it resume business.
